Teachers working with students up to 1500 strength will also find these books include a wealth of valuable coaching materials.
The Chess for Heroes book is written for older beginners and teaches the basics of good chess.
The next four books, which run in parallel, are written for players who have mastered the basics (rating round about 500-1000), providing the knowledge and skills required to play a proficient game.
The Puzzles and Games books are written for proficient players who would like to reach adult competitive standard (rating round about 1000-1500).
